    Mat Rempit

I've got a text in MSN from a friend of mine - Hui Wen.

She told me that I might wan to blog about this(an e-mail).

Its a story about this group of girls that were coming back from prom night very late in the night and how they were stalked by this gang of bikers on the way home and how they escape.

Come to think of it, I've never spoken much about our country's very own "superhero" on our streets, they are none other then - mat rempit.

Bombardment of warnings from our parents and those circulated mail in the internet sometimes leaves us to think will it happen to us one day?

Hey, but the world is a dangerous place.

Would one ever hide himself or herself all day at home just to stay safe?

No one wants to die of boredom.

The answer is obvious, but of cost we have to be careful.

All we can do is just to minimize the chances of these bad stuff happening to ourselves.

Unexpected situation will always happen in life.

After hearing so much about the terrors that these rempit has caused,

I've done my part in laughing at them in the video below.

I don't think this rempit will be able to do much, take a look and you'll know what I mean.

    Stupidity beyond comprehension. :)

Our Heart Are The Shapes of Malaysia

August 17, I was invited by a friend of mine to her church event at Bandar Sunway.

Upon entry, I was greeted with the word "merdeka" by 2 girls.

Owhhh kayyy.... Thats unusual.. I mean, who the heck greats people with "merdeka"? Maybe its their culture during independence day,

But I know we Malaysians one thing for sure will not great each other "merdeka", but most of the time we will rejoice together and proclaim,

    "Yay! tomorrow holiday!"
    .

I smile and nodded my head to the girls.

As I was about to walk into the hall, they handed me a bulletin and a miniature 'Bendera Merah Putih'.

Its a shame to say that, I don't even have the 'Jalur Gemilang' and I am now having the 'Bendera Merah Putih'.

Well, during secondary school times, they gave it to us during the merdeka celebration, but they took it back after the assembly, so what to do...

    Blardy cheap bastards! :P

And I never buy also la, so.. shhhtttt!

Oh, I forgot to mention that 17 August is the independence day of Indonesia.

Well, now that you get the picture, I can go on sharing my experience witnessing the entire event as a foreigner.

I've arrived at the church a little bit early, my friend was part of the team which will conduct the 'Upacara Bendera'(flag ceremony).

So I had to sit alone among people I don't know.

The upacara started with the team marching in from the hall door way.

I was told by my friend, they had to do this every Monday during school times, much like our Malaysian version of perhimpunan(assembly).

The only difference is they use a certain groups of people to perform, while ours, siapa-siapa pun boleh(anyone also can), mainly perfects prefects.

I notice something, the flag carrier is a girl.

But what interest me even more, was the amount of girls in the upacara team are more then the guys!

No I'm not being sexist, but normally guys are more into these kind of thing rite? This totally surprised me.

After the upacara, the church service starts.

Till a point, during the singing, the stage leader said, "mari kita kibarkan panji-panji kita."(come lets raise our flags!)

Hmm..... I looked around, everybody young or old, guys and girls, all raise their flags.

I'll look darn odd if I continue to keep my hands in my pocket, and no one knows that I'm Malaysian, and I couldn't possibly explain to them, it will just make me look dumb.

There is a Malay saying, "masuk kandang babi jadi babi, masuk hutan monyet jadi monyet!"

Yes I know what your thinking, shut up.. :P

So I took the little flag, raise it up till my neck level and just move it left and right.

Come on man, I don't even frigging wave the Jalur Gemilang pass my head.

But, I felt a sense of difference at that moment, it just doesn't feel 'home'.

I like the phrase written there,
    "Patriotic, will not
fade till the end of age."

Hmm... Its like this, you wish Lee Chong Wei will win the gold meddle, but at the same time, you criticize and say "Malaysia sure cant wan la", but in your heart you really wan him to win,

But when he lost, you start to say, "see la, what I told u, sure lose wan", at the same time in your heart you felt very sad because he lost.

Thats the closest how I can describe.

I think that feeling is call nationalism. Remember I said once, "loving the country and loving the government is 2 different thing."

Maybe is time for us to think what do we really feel about our own country, indeed there are many shit in our piece of land, and darn your right everyone is sick of it,

But are we going to complain forever?

Through my observation during the entire event,

I can really say that these group of Indonesian people know that their country has many problems(which I think we know a bit also reading from news papers),

Yet they pray their hearts out for a better transformation in their country, the girl who prayed on stage, I can see tears flowing from her eyes.

Man I tell you, their level of nationalism, is something we are way far behind.

The event came to an end with the choir team performing, I manage to capture 1 minute of their performance with my half arse quality camera phone, photos = good, video = very bad.

The sound quality made it sound bad,
but the actual performance is really good.

Selamat Merdeka to all my Malaysian friends.

Lets move onwards for a greater and glorious future!

She was the one whom invited me for this event, Ivana.

    Take care~ ;)

    Celcom Broadband VS Maxis Broadband

I have totally forgotten to tel you guys that my internet connection was switch from Maxis to Celcom!

Well, simply because Celcom is better then Maxis and cheaper also!

Few other comparison I would like to show you guys base on my personal experience.

1st - Maxis Broadband block port!

In other words, they don't allow the usage of certain LAN simulation program such as, Hamachi & Gerina(formally known as GG Client).

    Yes, they frigging block them!

Celcom Broadband has no such problem. :)

2nd - Maxis Broadband customer service SUX!

In regards to the above 'block port' issue, I went to the Maxis center at Sunway Pyramid.

I brought up this issue to all their people there, and they know nuts about what I was talking about, such low product knowledge people placed in the main center, what a humiliation!

Whats worst, during my complaining session, a Maxis dude came and ask me whats the problem,

I told him about it, he said this in return "honestly, don't use Maxis, it sux! Streamyx still the best".

Can you imagine that? Maxis staff don't even believe in their own product....

To make things worst, a lady ask me to leave my number and she will bring this issue up to the "higher level", and I would be notify of the solution 2 days later,

I waited for 1 week, no call from Maxis at all.

Celcom on the other hand, the dealer at TMPoint Taipan was good. He lend me HIS personal modem and sim card to test it out for 1 day,

If I were to face the problem that I was talking about, he said I don't have to apply.

3rd - Maxis Broadband freaking block P2P programs and application!

This means no BitTorrent, BitComet, Azureus, Ares and any related P2P stuff.

But I was told that from 1am to 6am, Maxis will open up the line to all "pirates" to download whatever they wish.

True, but blardy slow leh.... Better off not opening the line at all...

Celcom does not block P2P programs and application!

In fact, I'm using their RM 68 per month package, and its working just fine! Depends on your area,

Mine only had the 3G coverage, which isn't that good, if your area has the HSPD(high speed) connection, even better!

Thats just about my experience using both broadband, I know I've praised Maxis so high last time and now I'm doing the opposite.

Well, I'm just speaking the truth. :D

Thats all for this post, I hope that I would have my hard disk plugged in by the end of this week, then I would have my blogging pictures again!

    Till then, take care! ;)

Not Another Fuel Price Hike News

This is a pure entertainment post, I'm not making fun of this matter,
but lets lighten up a bit la shall we? :)

    ~-.~-.~-.~-.~-.~-.~-.~-.~-.~-.

I'm so so so so so so so soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo sick of reading about fuel price hike in the papers.

Every single day, I mean EVERY DAY! EVERYYYYYY FREGGING DAY!

I have to look at it over and over and over and over again...

Yes no doubt the fuel price hike is a pain to us all, but come on.. Almost a week or so already, still publishing the same news over and over again...

Give us & yourselves a break...

The constant publishing of the same issue has gripped me, I felt so sinful because I never wrote something about it.

Therefore melzkc.blogspot.com has decided to put a pen on this.

But I wont just write any news, I'll write news which contains entertainment value! :D

Now, I'm going to point out what have I thought to survive the fuel price hike and the "special good thing".. :P

This was what I had in mind, and I find it not a bad idea... :)

Alright, logically speaking, cars consume lots of fuel, but car is an essential traveling need, you cant expect anyone to cycle to KL to work everyday rite?

Don't talk about RapidKL, those bus sometime on time, sometimes not or missing, it wont be good to turn up work late and give the boss an excuse saying "the bus la!"...

So the only alternative left was - the motorcycle!

Never once thought I will seek biking as a form of transportation, but desperate times calls for desperate matters...

I was visualizing myself on a bike, riding to down town KL, I saw myself on those normal bike we normally saw on the streets, like the one above.

Immediately, my response was "no way I'm riding that!".

Not to say I'm looking down on those little bikes la, but its just something seems missing... And for some weird reason I was thinking of a movie I watched last year...

Come on, for the guys, don't you dare tell me you never ever felt like getting one of those bike(or a better one)!

A sense of pride came in, I dream myself on a Harley Davidson,

Cruising down to the southern state of Johor, and up north to Penang, stopping by and eat all the delicious food I want.

Some more if got girlfriend can take her out for cruising, and have that special kenangan terindah when she hold you from the back, with her head lean on you, knowing that its all safe just by putting her hands around your waist, you looking forward smiling knowing that you are loved by her as much as you love her.

With the evening sun fading into the horizon as the background, you both ride across the country side on a long stretched highway, no one else because motorbike can only fit two person but just the two of you...

    *Pengsan*

But after all the dreaming and drolling, reality sucks in.......

Fuel price ain't reducing, people still rioting, every thing seems not in place.

Two jokers from Jakarta did this as a form of protest to fuel price hike.

    SICK!

What the heck you sew your mouth for? A sign of not being able to pump petrol into your mouth? Mistake it for your car petrol tank is it?

Mobil = car, Mulut = mouth. I think both words start with 'M', thats why they were confused...

Anyway, back to the point. The biggest reality strike for me was...

    I DON'T HAVE A MOTORBIKE LICENSE....!

So my campaign of having that kenangan terindah spending less on fuel commence, my 1st step was none other then... Ask my parents if I could apply for a motorbike license...

The outcome was rather predictable, if she were to say "yes", I would eat veggie all the rest of my life...

    Like this!!

Now, I shall go to my bed and sleep, maybe I will get to dream about that kenangan terindah moment......

Someday oh Harley Davidson, someday you'll be mine for sure....

    Malaysian Moment

BMW short film competition closing date is just 2 days more, officially I wont be able to enter it.... ='(

Due to the on holding of the music composition process for a certain reason, therefore this project has to be scraped away...

But its not the end of it yet, despite unable to enter the competition, I'll still go on to complete it, I shall not let our hard work gone to waste, maybe I will enter this artwork into a different competition if had the chance. =)

So Zhiyu, after your friend has done the music, pass it to me, we shall roll the camera~! =D

Even though ideas come late, but better then never. =D

Anyway, I shall keep todays post short.

Another typical Malaysian moment caught by my camera.

I know la green means go, but by positioning your car in front of the green grass doesn't mean you can go leh...

    Law Abiding Or Plain Crazy?

Most of us who are able to drive, we tend to pick up phone calls even though we were warned not to do so, or even better reply SMS while driving.

Honestly.. I don't really see these kinda practice often.

Just by judging ourselves as Malaysians, I confess sometimes on the road we are just behaving like the devil.

"Aiyah! What to do?!? Wan to survive on Malaysian road must like this wan mah...!"

I heard that phrase many times.

I thought we were suppose to stop behind the white line??

But what I saw today totally stunned me.

This particular person was just too good, up to a point that I feel like getting down of the car and give him a slap and ask him "what are you doing!?".

That bugger just parked on the grass along Federal Highway!!

Lets take a closer look and see what was he doing.

    Wah lao!

Park on the grass just to talk on the phone!

Now, thats something I'll never ever get to see in my entire life again.

    Streamyx Is Funny!

I thought my English was bad..

Not till I saw how Streamyx personal writes their report.

It boost my self esteem in English so much, for a split second, I thought I was a graduate from Oxford University.

Due to them writing too long, I will retype it all here, bare in mind that I type exactly how they typed on the letter, the spacing and even how many full stop, its 100% photo copy of the report.

    Enjoy. =)

    ~-.~-.~-.~-.~-.~-.~-.~-.~-.~-.~-.

    Part 1
Cust came in just now. she claimed that someone called her from her house to her mobile phone. customer was extremely pissed off why that tech guy used her phone without her permission to make out going call. Please investigate. This incident occured at 1.15pm. Please update customer as well. Tq

I think the fella meant customer, instead he replaced it with "cust"...

    ~-.~-.~-.~-.~-.~-.~-.~-.~-.~-.~-.

    Part 2

    Spoke with Mr.Lim
Customer very frustrated because his problem not resolved until now.
Informed customer that will highlight this case with technician
Customer want we solve this problem ASAP
    Customer acknowledge

I was reluctant to tell him my real name since he addressed me Mr Lim at start and also because it was only the 1st report, I expected them to fix the problem with no sweat, but....

    ~-.~-.~-.~-.~-.~-.~-.~-.~-.~-.~-.

    Part 3
-tell customer that there is an internal wiring problem .customer blame technician that technician cut another parallel line and efect all wall socket.. he request for technician to come and check again...because he can only connect for a while...his name actually is Mr Teoh not Mr Lim... TQ

    ~-.~-.~-.~-.~-.~-.~-.~-.~-.~-.~-.

    Part 4

I don't understand lo.. Call Mr Lim, spoke to Mr Teoh.. I AM FRIGGING MR LIM AND MR TEOH la!!!

    Ya allah........ -.-"

DON'T YOU PEOPLE REFER TO YOUR PREVIOUS REMARK THAT STATED "his name actually is Mr Teoh not Mr Lim"...

    ~-.~-.~-.~-.~-.~-.~-.~-.~-.~-.~-.

Now I know why Streamyx organization is so messed up... They don't refer to their previous report, and they so call "make a new case" out of the old wan.

Their favorite phrase "your case has been submitted to the higher level, they will solve this problem."

But end up screwing anything and everything.

Higher level my arse! The only thing that will go up higher is the modem that your cheap company give us.

I'll shove it up high into your nose!

    GRRRR!!! Tulan......

    Streamyx VS Maxis Broadband

    -------------------------------
    Whats On My Mind:

Mum apparently to be a little crazy today, she offered to get me a laptop out of the blue! I refuse to accept that offer due to my "son ego", because last time I'm suppose to get 1 before entering SAE Institute, and since I came Taylor's I've been told to save that money instead because I have other plans. I'm currently eying on Isaac's Peugeot 405, so yeah thats why, if he is selling it, I'll be darn happy! =D
    --------------------------------

    I could stand no longer!

    Enough is enough!

Today, I went to TMpoint at Taipan USJ, my internet has been down for weeks!

Upon arrival, this particular sign cough my eye, I instantly draw out my phone and took a picture of it, I could not be bothered about other people looking at me.

Its a sin not to take this picture, and you'll know why...

Anyone of you can just step into TMpoint at Taipan,
turn right once you enter, and you'll see that...

It just SO STREAMYX!!! I was so happy for them because they finally discover something new of themselves!!

So I took my number and sat down.

The odd things was, those who are paying bills, their number are called more frequently compare to those who need technical assistant.

And at 5:30pm SHARP, the TMpoint people will close shop.

I've never seen them working that efficient, except closing shop on time...

5:30pm had passed, I was given the "waiting treatment" before it could be my turn.

    "Number 3042, counter 7"

I went and approach the receptionist as soon as I heard the call!

And I'm thoroughly amused by this...

The TMpoint people has to used THE CUSTOMER LINE to contact the technical department or some shit like that, don't they have direct access???!! -.-"

Thus I have to wait longer...

By the way, I've filed 2 phone report and 2 front desk report(including this 1).

There was a technician who came and fix the line at my place few days before, but after he has left, I connect to the net for 7 minutes and it just disconnect.

The technical department say that its my phone lining problem, and I have to call some fella to fix it!

Thats what the fella did to my lining...

I frigging shot her back saying that its your @#$% departments technician that was pulling and plugging my lining, and its spoiled after that, so YOU have to send someone to fix it

Or I'll frigging splash pork blood in front of your TM head quarters door step, and I'll see how your gona close shop on time now!(No offence to any of my Muslim friends, this statement was to express my dissatisfaction of TM service)

Of cause I wasn't talking rudely to her, but I've got my message straight.

After all the talking and waiting, they agreed to send their technician within 24 hours(in other words - one day) to correct the mistake they made.

They told me they are going to call me back and confirm what time they gona come, I told them off "tunggu lu telefon? I tunggu sampai leher panjang pun tak kan terima call lu..."

I did that because last time they say they gona call back, but did not.. This is not the 1st time they did that to me...

The fella reassured me that they WILL call me back, I'll see about that soon...

Mum got a freaking good idea, "lets just chance to another service provider".

Maxis was just around the corner, we walked over there.

Mum was told by 1 of her friend that Maxis also got provide broadband service, thats why she thought of it.

    Just that instance..

We just registered and now I'm using Maxis broadband instead of TMnut.

    1. Streamyx 1.0 Mbps ; Maxis broadband 3.6 Mbps.
    2. Streamyx got to wait few days for installation ; Maxis broadband buy, plug and get connected.
    3. Streamyx lousy service ; Maxis broadband hardly need any service.
    4. Streamyx need long wiring ; Maxis boradband less then 30 cm for desktop, less then 15 cm for laptop.
    5. Streamyx can only use for 1 computer(if its not router/wireless) ; Maxis broadband anything that has windows or an apple, its portable too!
    6. Streamyx no trial period ; Maxis broadband 1 week free trial(RM 100 deposited) before contract begins, and they refund your money if you decided not to continue using.
    7. Streamyx pricing a little cheap, but not worth it if your not using the house phone, the charges comes up to almost same amount RM77 addition RM 30+ ; Maxis broadband net price RM 138 per month with no hidden charges or tax.
Why pay less and torture you soul? A little extra $$ spent keeps the doctors away.

    Conclusion??

    Streamyx - 0 ; Maxis broadband - 7

    Strike out!!

    Biasa la tu..

Still, at less he came! Now who wants to buy Toto or 4D, todays date!?

After all the mumbo jumbo that dude did fix quite a number of things and kindly helping me to rearrange my phone lines.

    I was so dead happy!

All my misery can finally came to an end!

After the dude left, I anxiously jump in front of my PC and started to check my mail and etc...

At the 7th minute after the restoration.

Absolute Humiliation - Side Story of the BERSIH Riot

    -----------------------------------
    Whats On My Mind:

STUPID STREAMYX has YET to REPAIR MY INTERNET CONNECTION!!
As they were saying, "your case I pass to high level"... I'll be waiting.
This is a short update done at one of my friends house.
    -----------------------------------

The word 'leader' oftens pares up with these 2 word - brave and INTELECTUAL.

Sadly to say, some of our country leaders either lacking 1 of the quality or have none.

I know I'm just few steps away from steping on "danger ground", I shall not elaborate much and let YOU do the judging.

Pay attention to his language, means of speaking and his points of reason within his speech.

    More Fasting, Less Farting!

Malaysia is such a beautiful country...

Because you will never die of starvation no matter where you go.

Every corner you turn, there are food stalls whether during morning, afternoon, evening or night.

    From road side...

    Beside someones house...

    On the walking pathway!

    EVERYWHERE!

What is even great, during the fasting month of Rahmadan.

An entire bazaar of food & drink stalls would be open as early as 4PM.

The normal quiet humble area of USJ 8 suddenly have to accept swarms of hungry people coming from all directions just to get food before their breaking fast time.

Of cause la, this phenomena only happen once a year, and I never been to the bazaar near my area before.

So I don't wan to miss out la.

One big fat 'cucuk udang' cost ony RM0.50! Its worth it because the prawn is big.

Selection of noodles from a single wok, normally its separated on a platter, something new. =)

The aroma of 'sateh' can be smell few stall away from where its being barbeque.

I walked around, I knew I was missing something, something I haven eaten for a long time..

My old time favorite 'murtabak ayam'!

I never eaten it since 3-4 years ago, the last time I ate one was back at Cameron Highlands.

And the ones sold in Cameron Highland are much more bigger compare to these.

But still, by looking at it, makes me drool..

Mixing something, I don't know what it is, but it makes the 'murtabak' taste good!

Mhmmm! Can you feel the chicken paste melt in your mouth after each juice bite?

Some other finger food, RM1 for 3 piece.

Good bargain compare to those mamak stalls selling it.

How nice if this goes on everyday throughout the year!

I know the bazaar in Bangsar Baru is much bigger that of this.

Anyway, does anyone know where else got this kinda food galore?

    Do recommend it! =D

    So delicious, so cheap!

    Want some 'cucuk udang'? =D
