I was invited to go for a Pastor Ordination at Kechara house not too long ago.
At 1st, I was thinking, "pastor ordination", must be a new church!

Or so it was...
My guess why they call them pastors is because pretty much like the Christian definition, pastors look after their 'flocks'/followers.
Nevertheless, it was an eye opener.
1st time going into a Tibetan Buddhist association house.
The super star of the night is a monk by the name of - H. E. Tsem Tulku Rinpoche.
He is probably the most 'diva' monk I've ever meet or know of!
Hollywood portrayal of monks went out my mind and into the trash can.
His manner of speech, outlook (shades), his persona, nothing like a stereotype Shaolin monk.
no this is not him
"Je suis qui je suis!"
You see what I mean...
I have to give him credit though, he speaks well, and he definitely knows how to engage the people.
For that, I respect him.
Thus ends the pastor ordination.
Indeed a new experience.
And no, I don't want to become a monk. :)
