    Nuffnang 5th Birthday Bash

Ok, the rule says I gotta be creative to win the invites to Nuffnang B'day Bash.
Instead, I'm gonna cheat. *If you know what I mean* =3

So the question is 'how should the stick man celebrate his 5th b'day?'

I think, everyone should get their friends to do the stick man pose, better still, get some friends to do it with you.

    Spot me! I'm in green!

    See, its done! =D

On top of that, why I would love to be there at the 5th Nuffnang b'day bash?

The answer is plain simple, it is because of these guys...

Spending some time with them would be my objective.

I cannot ask for more, knowing them was undisputedly one of the many great memory chapter created in my life.

I thank God for all the fun times we had during that short time frame.

Indeed it still put a smile on my face, remembering how we all look like dressed up for halloween.

Also the hard and difficult times we share, working towards one objective while overcoming obstacles.

We all grew from that experience, but ultimately is the friendship and trust that was forged which was important.

From a little blogger who had seen Nuffnang grew from thin air to what it is today, 2007 - 2012 and beyond.

Ultimately getting the chance to be able to go back of the house and experience what being in there was all about.

I had never regret forsaking the chance to stay in Taiwan Longer.

Come to think of it, if I had stayed, I would not have meet these bunch of awesome people. :)

See you at Nuffnang 5th Birthday Bash! Tickets please! *muka tak malu* =D

    Pastor Ordination @ Kechara

I was invited to go for a Pastor Ordination at Kechara house not too long ago.

At 1st, I was thinking, "pastor ordination", must be a new church!

    Or so it was...

My guess why they call them pastors is because pretty much like the Christian definition, pastors look after their 'flocks'/followers.

Nevertheless, it was an eye opener.

1st time going into a Tibetan Buddhist association house.

The super star of the night is a monk by the name of - H. E. Tsem Tulku Rinpoche.

He is probably the most 'diva' monk I've ever meet or know of!

Hollywood portrayal of monks went out my mind and into the trash can.

His manner of speech, outlook (shades), his persona, nothing like a stereotype Shaolin monk.

    no this is not him

    "Je suis qui je suis!"

    You see what I mean...

I have to give him credit though, he speaks well, and he definitely knows how to engage the people.

    For that, I respect him.

    Thus ends the pastor ordination.

    Indeed a new experience.

And no, I don't want to become a monk. :)

To Train There or Not To Train There?

I got a rude shock yesterday morning.

When I log on to my Facebook, the 1st thing I saw was a shot out posted by one of my friend(from Indonesia) which was, "**** you terrorist!"

    I was like "okey..."

As I was further scrolling down my page, I saw another statement posted by another friend of mine(also from Indonesia), the content are similar, talking about some terrorist thing.

And there was another statement, and another and another!

My suspicion was high, I went onto yahoo news but I did not find any terrorist act of any kind. It then strike my mind that yahoo is based in America, maybe they haven wrote about it.

I could not help but to log on to another website 'Malaysiakini'.

To my horror, I saw this.

Ritz-Carlton & JW Marriott Jakarta was bombed!

Why am I reacting so much?

Well, for your info, those 2 hotel simultaneously was within my industrial training placement list!

Thank goodness they did not decide to explode at the time that I will be there.

    Ritz-Carlton's after the blast

    I am speechless...

    What can I say.

    R.I.P victims of the bombing.

    When Nature Calls

This is gonna be a short post for the day, don't mind the nonsense. :)

Have anyone of you ever get yourself into situation where you really "have to go"?

Believe me when I say I do.

In fact I have many stories of how I always manage to survive from "the great release".

From leaving my friend in the car and running off to somewhere, and the police came asking "where is the driver?"

To cycle back from school during school hours because the toilet in my high school are just so screwed up,

Also, going few kilometers away just to find a nice toilet when I have one near me.

You name it, I've done it.

Call me the freak of nature, but ask yourself if you do not have any somewhat different preference. :)

So one day, I was walking somewhere near my place.

Suddenly, I ain't feeling very well, I thought it was the food I ate just now.

A sign that I have to go to the WC~ But where???

How in the world am I suppose to find a WC in the middle of no where??

I walked and walked, I saw a place, and an idea came into my head!

Guard: "What is the purpose of your visit?"

    Me: "Err.."

Guard: "Oh I know, visit your teacher?"

    Me: "Ehm.. Yeah?"

    And again~ I've done it!

    Another survival episode~

There is a saying, "desperate times calls for desperate measures!" :)

    Point-less-B-Guitar

I was walking at Point-B Departmental stall one Sunday.

    Why was I there???

Because I really have nothing else better to do...

    Anyway!

I saw this really nice colored guitars on display.

The 'purple' guitar is actually pink! Camera not very good ma...

Then I saw this little signs on the top of the guitar.

    With a big 'NO'

I went up closer to take a look.

You wan to sell guitar, but cannot play?? So how to test the sound??

That is like a food stall showcasing their food menu but the stall keeper comes up to you and say "all these are for display only, no buying allowed!"

Come on... Give me a break!

What next? "We sell 'mee goreng' but without the 'goreng'?!?"

    Early Blessings

    -------------------------
    Whats On My Mind:

I'm feeling more and more lazy... =(
And I have my 2nd industrial training interview tomorrow, wish me the best!
    -------------------------

Hey guys, I'm so sorry that it took me so long(again) to update.

But no worries, I'm back! :D

This post I'll make it a short one, more to come for sure!

Today was a great day, I was really blessed by my brothers and auntie.

I had my lunch at 'Thai Thai Restaurant' in Sunway Pyramid.

The food was ok, above all, the greatest thing was all of them were there, too bad grandma cant make it though.

Was suppose to go up to One Utama to meet her, but a friend of mine was admitted into the hospital and I have to visit her.

That took up quite a lot of time until I wasn't able to take a look at the house at Suriamas which I will be moving in soon.

    Supposedly Suriamas looked like this..

My sister-in-law is going to give birth end of this month, suddenly I'm going to become an uncle of a new born little boy...

    No I'm not old..

My 2nd brother is going to get married next year, I'm sure its going to be a big celebration.

    Suriamas during construction,
I cant find any other pictures on the net..

Life is getting more and more interesting and tiring these days, don't you think so?

So many things change and new things that you never expect in your life emerge from no where, challenges we faced, and many more.

I can say, its gona be really really interesting!

Oh by the way, the competition which I talked about in my past few post, I did not make it.

The story is just too complicated and it boils my blood to tell you because I knew a certain ugly truth, hell like disgusting truth...

I'll just classify this as "unprofessional", its not the judges or me and my team I'm talking about, the judges are fair..

Someone la, its for me to know and for you to find out! :D

But I'll still continue with the song which we made, once the recording is done, I'll upload it for all of you to hear! =D

    Nevertheless, I'm really blessed today!

Really thank God for the things in my life! ;)

    Till then, take care!

    Celcom Broadband VS Maxis Broadband

I have totally forgotten to tel you guys that my internet connection was switch from Maxis to Celcom!

Well, simply because Celcom is better then Maxis and cheaper also!

Few other comparison I would like to show you guys base on my personal experience.

1st - Maxis Broadband block port!

In other words, they don't allow the usage of certain LAN simulation program such as, Hamachi & Gerina(formally known as GG Client).

    Yes, they frigging block them!

Celcom Broadband has no such problem. :)

2nd - Maxis Broadband customer service SUX!

In regards to the above 'block port' issue, I went to the Maxis center at Sunway Pyramid.

I brought up this issue to all their people there, and they know nuts about what I was talking about, such low product knowledge people placed in the main center, what a humiliation!

Whats worst, during my complaining session, a Maxis dude came and ask me whats the problem,

I told him about it, he said this in return "honestly, don't use Maxis, it sux! Streamyx still the best".

Can you imagine that? Maxis staff don't even believe in their own product....

To make things worst, a lady ask me to leave my number and she will bring this issue up to the "higher level", and I would be notify of the solution 2 days later,

I waited for 1 week, no call from Maxis at all.

Celcom on the other hand, the dealer at TMPoint Taipan was good. He lend me HIS personal modem and sim card to test it out for 1 day,

If I were to face the problem that I was talking about, he said I don't have to apply.

3rd - Maxis Broadband freaking block P2P programs and application!

This means no BitTorrent, BitComet, Azureus, Ares and any related P2P stuff.

But I was told that from 1am to 6am, Maxis will open up the line to all "pirates" to download whatever they wish.

True, but blardy slow leh.... Better off not opening the line at all...

Celcom does not block P2P programs and application!

In fact, I'm using their RM 68 per month package, and its working just fine! Depends on your area,

Mine only had the 3G coverage, which isn't that good, if your area has the HSPD(high speed) connection, even better!

Thats just about my experience using both broadband, I know I've praised Maxis so high last time and now I'm doing the opposite.

Well, I'm just speaking the truth. :D

Thats all for this post, I hope that I would have my hard disk plugged in by the end of this week, then I would have my blogging pictures again!

    Till then, take care! ;)

'Salvation Mission' - Saving Friends Girlfriend

Crap la, I got other things to blog about, but my old PC hard drive is not connected to my new CPU yet..

I guess this leaves me to blog about those things some other time. :)

Anyhow, there was this incident that happened yesterday, and I would like to share it with all of you, it has been through permission request.

Therefore I'm able to blog about it.

I was somehow drawn to be part of the 'Salvation Mission'.

Character: GF - girl, BF - my friend.

Yet another sky picture by me, this is a simple one.. :)

    ~-.~-.~-.~-.~-.~-.~-.

One fine morning, GF's mother told her that they will be having branch together at 11am.

She woke up, and found the mother watching DVD drama, GF gently remind her mother that they are suppose to go for branch.

"Don't disturb me! I'm watching my drama!" was the reply she got.

Not wanting to get into an argument, she walked off.

2pm, she again remind her mum the time for lunch, only to get a similar reply, "Go away! Don't disturb!".

6pm, GF was fuming, she told her mum this time with a slight louder tone, her mother replied in fury, "Why didn't you tell me earlier! So late already!". GF stomps off.

    -2nd day-

GF woke up much later then yesterday, 2pm.

Her mother wasn't see around the house, she thought maybe mother went out for lunch and would get some for her.

Later when her mother came back, she found out there wasn't any packed food for her.

Instead she got a piece of the mothers mind, "serve you rite, this is for being rude yesterday and waking up so late today".

GF does not wan to further argue with her mother, knowing she has no strength to do so.

Mother told her to wait at the Sushi King near her place in the evening, she went and waited.

What she doesn't know was the mother actually went to the DVD shop(again) and bought more DVD dramas! The mother "shopped" till she forgot the time and appointment with GF.

GF was drown in rage, she told her mum she wanted to eat alone outside.

Mother ain't happy with her decision, saying that its dangerous for a girl to be out so late, she demands that GF to come home right away! She has no choice but to comply.

Upon reaching home, mother game an excuse saying, "your fault for waking up late, no dinner for you!". To subdue her hunger, she went to sleep early.

Talking about abuse.. Take a look at this!

    -Yesterday-

GF called BF and tell her the entire situation, BF was darn shocked of her state and the treatment she received from her mother.

But he couldn't do anything because he was lazy to take his license cant drive.

Till later in the evening, BF decided to call his friend for help, which so happens to be me, and so happen also I was out with the car.

I was stunned myself to know of such situation, hence I picked up BF around night time, and went all the way to GF's place at SS2 PJ.

We took her out and brought her to eat after almost 3 days of starvation, everything turn for the better...

So the girl was save! Thanks to the power puff girls a caring BF, some guy who has nothing better to do, and a car name 'wira'!

    ~-.~-.~-.~-.~-.~-.~-.

    This is a true story.

Identity of both person are concealed due to privacy issue. :)

Thank you for your understanding~ :D

    Brand New Toy

    Hi people!!!

Its been really long since I post my updates, I'm sorry for the super long delay, my PC was dead and I don't have the internet for quite some time.

But now, everything is back to normal, blogging resume to normal phase!

There is only one problem now, my old pictures are all in my other PC's hard disk, I've yet to plug it in, hence I'm unable to upload all the previous photos I've taken.

I'll need some time to catch up on all those events. Will post it up once everything settles down.

Just a slight update on whats happening at this point of time.

    MY TRAINING HAS FINALLY ENDED!

And today was the 1st day of college after 3 long months, its officially a years anniversary for us batch 28 people!

Tomorrow will be the orientation for batch 31!

    Shit, time flies...

    Now, lets see..

Alright, I've announced that I had a new PC rite?

Allow me to show you my brand new toy!

Thanks to a friend of mine - SK, for coming along with me to Low Yat and help me search for the best buy.

Excluding speaker, keyboard, mouse, DVD room and a floppy disk drive, others all all newly bought and assembled.

    'monster-board'

This new baby has a G Force 9 512MB graphic card, 4 GB ram, 298 GB hard disk space and a Intel core 2 quad motherboard.

Now I can edit my videos without fearing any lag and play any high graphic games!

    a really big graphic card..

This high end baby is truly its a blessing. :)

For the entire custom made CPU & LCD monitor, total cost is only RM 2880!

    assembled 'monster-board'

A price like that for such monstrous assembly, its really a good buy.

Lesson learned? Branded electronics doesn't mean its good most of the time.

I've never dreamed of ever having such a opportunity to have such powerful PC.

I thank God for it! ;)

Well, that all for today, I'll update again soon!

    Take care! =D

And the stupid PC at my workplace doesn't allow me to upload pictures onto this post.

    So no pictures for today.

From my personal view point, I think one of the good banana leaf rice could be found at Bangsar Baru - Nirwana.

But now, there is another place which I would recommend all to try out, and the best part is, its in Subang Jaya!!!

Its so close to home! Next time I don't have to go all the way to Bangars at 1.30am just to eat!

The only thing I hope was their standard be better, frankly, I did not enjoy Nirwana's banana leaf rice as much as I used to.

    Will see how... :)

    Chocoholic

    ----------------------------
    Whats On My Mind:

Sorry guys for the delayed update...
    ----------------------------

    Do you guys like chocolate?

Well, I'm sure majority of us here loves it to the bottom of our heart.

But have you ever tasted real chocolate?

Sugar content = 0% type of chocolate.

On the 3rd day of CNY, I went back to my mum's hometown at Seremban as usual, a tradition every year.

But this year, my mum's cousin sister came up from Singapore for visitation.

My aunt as usual, would have all sorts of weird but interesting things for us to try out every time, I remembered long time ago, she was the one who thought me some card tricks which I remembered till today.

    This year, its chocolate tasting!

My aunt opened a chocolate shop in Singapore, she has quite large a collection of chocolates from all around the world.

I'm not taking about 'M&M's' & etc, its black chocolate I'm talking about.

We got into a chocolate tasting session, whereby my cousins and I tasted 10 types of chocolate from 10 different place around the world, chocolate content is 75%, and sugar free, therefore also fat free(I cant get fat anyway). =)

I learned and forgotten a lot from this session, but I realize that chocolate isn't just chocolate flavor, the pure chocolate contain various types of flavor, such as 'woody', 'spicy(herb kind)', 'acidic', 'bitter' and etc...

Here are some pictures, of the description, feel free to take a look~

    Chocolates from Colombia.

    Chocolates from "I-like-to-move-it-move-it-land".

Chocolates from Venezuela, top 3 favorite, rank 3rd~ ;)

Chocolates from Equateur, top 3 favorite(my aunts favorite), rank 2nd~

Chocolates from Indonesia, me and my cousins favorite(its not no.1 because I'm learning Indonesian ok.... Memang its nice), rank 1st~ =D

    Chocolates from Papouasie.

    Chocolates from Trinidad.

Chocolates from Tanzanie, sorry I don't have the description for this piece, too bright till my camera cant see the words.. =(

    Chocolates from Sao Tome.

Last but not least, chocolates from Ghana, the 1st we tried, and the one we dislike the most...

The study of chocolates are very wide, so many out there in the world, and we are already so content with 'smarties' or 'M&M's'.

Reminds me so much of wine class back at term 2, because the classifications of chocolates are quite similar to wine.

Truly this was an eye opener for me, although I forgot most of the things aunt thought us, thats why my blog post I decided to post more pictures then to elaborate. =x

Try black chocolate if you have the chance, I assure you, its absolutely heavenly~! =D
